Jesus’ Ordination as Christ and Lord

Jesus' baptism was His ordination ceremony. God the Father anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and power, declared Him to be both Lord and Christ, and revealed Him to Israel as the one who baptizes with the Holy Spirit and fire.
